Rwanda’s permit prices are structured as a premium experience.
Standard permit (one hour with gorillas)
Foreign Non-Residents: $1,500 USD.
Foreign Residents: $500 USD.
Citizens of Other African Countries: $500 USD.
Rwandan and East African Community Citizens: $200 USD.
Discounted permits: A 30% discount ($1,050) is available for non-African residents during the low season (November to May), provided they also visit other national parks in Rwanda for a minimum number of nights.
