Today, you will go for your first actual game drive in Arusha National Park! This park, close to Arusha, is known for its abundance of tropical birds, the presence of the black and white Colobus monkey, and some rare albino baboons. You will probably spot the Colobus monkey and some rare bird species such as the gorgeous Silvery Cheeked Hornbill, and, if you are very lucky, even an albino. The park also has a lake, a few craters, waterfalls, mountains, and beautiful grassy plains.

Day 4: Relax in the lodge in Arusha or get active!

Today, you can relax at your hotel to enjoy the friendly service, or go out and about through a range of activities! You can, for example, visit the beautiful Mount Meru waterfalls. Each day of the safari takes you closer to witnessing some of the world’s greatest natural wonders, from the massive herds of elephants in Tarangire to the thrilling predator-prey interactions in the Serengeti. With beautiful lodges providing comfort throughout the trip, this safari offers an ideal blend of adventure and relaxation.

Day 1: Moshi – Arusha– Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your 6 Day Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara & Serengeti Tanzania safari adventure begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, a premier wildlife destination in Tanzania. Covering approximately 2,600 square kilometers, Tarangire is comparable in size to Luxembourg. The park’s diverse landscape features sprawling savannahs, seasonal swamps, and iconic giant baobab trees.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its impressive elephant populations, with herds of up to 300 individuals frequently spotted roaming the park. This makes it one of the premier locations in East Africa for observing these majestic creatures up close. A significant portion of the park is covered by the alkaline Lake Manyara, renowned for its large colonies of flamingos and other waterfowl.

Following your game drive, you will travel to the small, multi-cultural village of Mto wa Mbu, located on the outskirts of Lake Manyara National Park. Day 3: Lake Manyara Area – Serengeti National Park

Today, you will journey into the lush highlands, where agricultural fields are abundant with crops such as wheat, corn, and coffee. As you traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you may stop to marvel at the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continuing your drive, you will arrive at Serengeti National Park, renowned for its expansive grassland savannahs, which stretch endlessly to the horizon. The name “Serengeti” translates to “endless plains” in the Maasai language, perfectly capturing the vastness of this iconic landscape.

The Serengeti is also famous for its dramatic rock formations, known as kopjes, which provide vantage points for observing predators. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration, where thousands of animals traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing grounds.

In the late afternoon, you will check into the Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp, where you will enjoy a comfortable and immersive safari experience. This luxury camp offers an ideal base for exploring the Serengeti’s rich wildlife and stunning landscapes.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

You will spend the entire day on an exhilarating game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring the vast landscapes in search of wildlife. The areas you visit will be determined by the movements of the migrating herds, as predators closely follow these herds.

During the short rainy season from November to December, the herds migrate from the northern hills to the southern plains. Conversely, during the longer rainy season from April to June, the herds return north. The exact location of the herds can vary each year based on rainfall patterns, but your experienced guide will be adept at locating the best viewing spots for optimal wildlife sightings. In addition to the impressive herds of wildebeests and zebras, you may encounter predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

After a day of thrilling wildlife encounters, you will return to Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp for another night, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s adventures in comfort.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will embark on another exhilarating game drive in Serengeti National Park. This morning’s adventure offers the chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed previously. Serengeti National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including the prestigious Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Today could be the opportunity to witness all members of this iconic group.

Following a delicious picnic lunch at a designated site, you will drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you arrive at the edge of the crater, you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive caldera teeming with wildlife. The approximately 20-kilometer-wide crater is home to over 25,000 animals, offering exceptional wildlife viewing.

Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Forest Camp

• Elevation (ft): 7,800ft to 9,500ft
• Distance: 6 km
• Hiking Time:3-4 hours
• Habitat: Rain Forest

8 Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb via Lemosho Route: We depart Moshi for Londorossi Gate, which takes about 4 hours, where you will complete entry formalities. Then drive to the Lemosho trailhead (another hour to reach the trailhead). Upon arrival at the trailhead, we eat lunch, then commence through an undisturbed forest which winds to the first campsite.

Day 2: Forest Camp to Shira Camp 1

• Elevation (ft): 9,500ft to 11,500ft
• Distance: 8 km
• Hiking Time 5-6 hours
• Habitat: Moorland

We continue on the trail leading out of the forest and into a savannah of tall grasses, heather, and volcanic rock draped with lichen beards. As we ascend through the lush rolling hills and cross several streams, we reach the Shira Ridge before dropping gently down to Shira 1 camp. The view of Kibo from across the plateau is amazing.

Day 3: Shira Camp 1 to Shira 2 to Moir Hut

• Elevation (ft): 11,500ft to 13,800 ft
• Distance: 14 km
• Hiking Time: 5-7 hours
• Habitat: Moorland

We explore the Shira plateau for a full day. It is a gentle walk east toward Kibo’s glaciered peak, across the plateau which leads to Shira 2 camp on moorland meadows by a stream. Then we continue to Moir Hut, a little used site on the base of Lent Hills. A variety of walks are available on Lent Hills making this an excellent acclimatization opportunity. Shira is one of the highest plateaus on earth.

Day 4: Moir Hut to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

• Elevation (ft): 13,800ft to 13,000ft
• Distance: 7 km
• Hiking Time: 4-6 hours
• Habitat: Semi Desert

From the Shira Plateau, we continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As we continue, our direction changes to the South East towards the Lava Tower, called the “Shark’s Tooth.” Shortly after the tower, we come to the second junction which brings us up to the Arrow Glacier at an altitude of 16,000ft. We now continue down to the Barranco Hut at an altitude of 13,000ft. Here we rest, enjoy dinner, and overnight. Although you end the day at the same elevation as when you started, this day is very important for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

• Elevation (ft): 13,000ft to 13,100ft
• Distance: 5km
• Hiking Time: 4-5 hours
• Habitat: Alpine Desert

After breakfast, we leave Barranco and continue on a steep ridge passing the Barranco Wall, to the Karanga Valley campsite. This is a short day meant for acclimatization.

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

• Elevation (ft): 13,100ft to 15,300ft
• Distance: 4 km
• Hiking Time: 4-5 hours
• Habitat: Alpine Desert

After breakfast, we leave Karanga and hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. We continue up to the Barafu Hut. At this point, you have completed the South Circuit, which offers views of the summit from many different angles. Here we make camp, rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this position.

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Hut

• Elevation (ft): 15,300ft to 19,345ft (and down to 10,000ft)
• Distance: 5 km ascent / 12 km descent
• Hiking Time: 7-8 hours ascent / 4-6 hours descent
• Habitat: Arctic

Very early in the morning (midnight to 2 am), we continue our way to the summit between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. You head in a northwesterly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. This is the most mentally and physically challenging portion of the trek.

At Stella Point (18,600 ft), you will stop for a short rest and will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise you are ever likely to see (weather permitting). From Stella Point, you may encounter snow on your 1-hour ascent to the summit. At Uhuru Peak, you have reached the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the continent of Africa. Faster hikers will see the sunrise from the summit.

From the summit, we now make our descent continuing straight down to the Mweka Hut campsite, stopping at Barafu for lunch. You will want gaiters and trekking poles for the loose gravel going down. Mweka Camp is situated in the upper forest, and mist or rain can be expected in the late afternoon. Later in the evening, we enjoy our last dinner on the mountain and a well-earned sleep.

Day 8: Mweka Camp to Moshi

• Elevation (ft): 10,000ft to 5,400ft
• Distance: 10 km
• Hiking Time: 3-4 hours
• Habitat: Rain Forest

After breakfast, we continue the descent down to the Mweka Park Gate to receive your summit certificates. At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts will probably be plenty to wear (keep rain gear and warmer clothing handy). From the gate, you continue for another hour to Mweka Village. A vehicle will meet you at Mweka village to drive you back to the hotel in Moshi. End of 8 Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb via Lemosho Route.

Day 1: Moshi, Arusha – Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast, we begin our drive to the Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro with a few stops during the journey at interesting scenic points for you to take pictures and get the full experience of your Tanzania Classic tour.

The drive from Moshi/Arusha to Serengeti National Park is approximately 6 hours, and we will make provision for your lunch during the journey by providing you with enjoyable lunch boxes to allow us to arrive on time for afternoon animal sightings in the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at either a midrange or luxury lodge in Serengeti.

Day 2: Full day in Serengeti National Park

A full day Serengeti tour will start after your breakfast, where you will spend the day observing animals in their natural habitat at different times and in various parts of the Serengeti. Look forward to witnessing large herds of migrating animals, prides of lions, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and antelope as well as various species of birdlife and indigenous trees.

Day 3: Another Full day in Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a full day of animal sightings and capture the wilderness in all its glory as you drive through the Serengeti in search of wildlife. Depending on the time of the year, this 5-day Tanzania Classic Migration tour will be located in the central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti, or Southern Serengeti.

Day 4: Morning in Serengeti National Park – Afternoon drive to Ngorongoro

This tour will start with an early breakfast at your lodge or camp before you leave for morning game sightings. At midday, you will enjoy your picnic lunch thereafter you will continue with afternoon animal sightings as you drive to the Ngorongoro crater rim for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning in Ngorongoro Crater – Afternoon drive back to Arusha, Moshi

Today, your safari will begin with an early breakfast at your lodge or camp before you travel down the crater rim to view the animals inside the crater up close. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest unbroken Caldera where thousands of animals live, where you will see the big five animals.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our company representatives for meet and greet services. Alternatively, we can pick you up from the Nairobi hotel early in the morning. Leaving the bustling city of Nairobi, we drive to the Rift Valley Circuit. You will have a stop at the viewpoint to see the Great Rift Valley. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley’s most famous lake, Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it is alkaline and is recognized as being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast from the hotel, you will make your way to Masai Mara Game Reserve. We will drive via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. We will proceed and arrive at camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve

A full day is spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have the opportunity to spot the BIG FIVE, including lion, elephant, leopard, black rhino, and buffalo. You will visit the Mara River, which borders Kenya and Tanzania. You will have a chance of seeing Hippos and very large Nile Crocodiles, who lay in wait for prey as wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.

Each year, Masai Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle, the Great Migration of wildebeest from Serengeti National Park, Tanzania to Masai Mara, Kenya. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life-giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara, making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River, they mass together on the banks before finally plunging forward through the raging waters, creating a frenzy as they fight against swift currents and waiting crocodiles.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Early morning game drive at sunrise followed by breakfast at the lodge/camp. We depart Masai Mara game viewing game en-route as you exit the park with the last picturesque of Amboseli. We drive back to Nairobi arriving Nairobi in the afternoon. Day 1: Arusha

A safari guide from our office will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation and your overnight stay. You’ll spend the evening preparing for your adventure the next day. You are welcome to explore the city with our guide for free.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

You’ll be picked up from the lodge early in the morning and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park with a lunchbox in hand. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds and diverse landscapes—from seasonal swamps to savanna. You might get the chance to see lions stalking their prey or leopards relaxing in the trees. Once the game drive is over, we’ll drive you to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3-4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we’ll depart for the Serengeti. You’ll enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. The rest of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive before you make your way to the camp. You will spend the second day on a full-day game drive. The Serengeti is well known for its migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be ready to see resident predators, including leopards, cheetahs, and lions, all fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we’ll depart Ngorongoro for a game drive with lunch boxes in hand. This park is made up of the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30,000 large mammals (such as buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards) are resident year-round. Be ready to see many animals here within a short period!

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Lake Manyara for a game drive with a lunch box in hand. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay. Lake Manyara is famous for its arboreal lions who hide amidst the tree branches. Numerous baboon colonies will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.

Day 7: Arusha

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After sleeping in one of the hotels in Kampala, you will have breakfast, and then you will be picked up by our experienced tour guide, who will provide you with all the information you may need. Depart for Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the gorilla in Nakasongola. Thereafter, have lunch and drive to the park to get an insight into the prime gushing Nile drop through the narrow gorge, you have an amazing experience, and head to the lodge to check in for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive and Lunch Cruise in Murchison National Park

Embark on an early game drive after breakfast, you will spot animals among which will be the Lions, buffalo, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi, among others. Head back for your lunch meal after the eventful game drive and relax abit as you wait to head for the stunning boat cruise where you will have views of Hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, several water birds such as the shoebill stork, and various other birds. Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Having had breakfast transfer to Kibale National Park as you drive through the Albertain escarpment of the East African Rift Valley through the journey you will have dynamic views of Lake Albert, and the mountains of the moon. On reaching Fort Portal you will have lunch and then have a cultural tour of Toro kingdom. Then drive straight to the lodge, check in dinner overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

On this day you will do the chimp trekking adventure, have breakfast early enough, and head to the park headquarters for a briefing then head to the forest where you will spend 2-5 hours You will see other primates like the Colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red Colobus, blue monkeys, Olive baboons plus more others that make the forest qualify as the primate capital of the world. You will have lunch after the trek and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with game viewing. On arrival at the park in the evening hours check in dinner and rest up for the day.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Warm up with a cup of coffee and head for the game drive in the Kasenyi plains to meet with the early risers that will overwhelm you at the way they relate while in the wild. See the various animals that live here, the bushbucks, Uganda Kob, topi, Defassa waterbuck, and Cape buffaloes, Lions, and elephants. You will then return to then get back to the lodge with your lunch ready to be served freshen up and head for the afternoon 2hours boat cruise along the Kazing a channel which also comes along with a lot of beauties to be seen. For example the yawning hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, various bird species such as red chest, papyrus Gonolek, pink-backed pelicans, malachite kingfishers, yellow crown, water thick-knee, yellow-billed stork, shoe bill stock. Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking and Nature Walk

With a packed lunch and done with having your breakfast meal, you will head to the park headquarters for an important briefing before you penetrate through the forest for trekking You will then be grouped and head to the forest to face the rare mountain gorillas, the trek is a bit strenuous and the time you may take during the trek will depend on the movement of the gorillas. When the activity is done and having earned a delightful memory of it. you will then head for a community walk to the nearby villages in case of interest, explore their culture, and more items that they may have to showcase. Thereafter be back at the hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Day 8: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda

Have your delicious morning meal and head to the land of ‘a thousand hills’ (Rwanda) which also harbors a good number of gorillas in Parc National des Volcanoes PNV. This park lies in the virunga region so while here you will have scenic views of the peaks like Karisnmbi, Muhabura, Sabinyo, and Bisoke. Then have lunch and stay.

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Eat early morning breakfast ready with your packed lunch and drinking water head for the park headquarters where you will again have a warm cup of coffee since the chills are still on you will be briefed and in accompaniment, you will see the vibrant Kinyarwanda dance being performed. Head to the forest for the day’s main activity it will take you some good hours to find these apes, though the result of finding them is rewarding thereafter you will head back to the headquarters for certificate awarding and then drive back to the hotel for dinner and night’s rest.

Day 10: Departure and Kigali City Tour

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe International Airport to Kampala

Our driver/ guide will receive and welcome you to Uganda from Entebbe International Airport. He will transport you to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, where he will drop you to the hotel and brief you on the history of Uganda and brief on safari. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Our driver will transfer you to Murchison Falls, driving northwest, passing by the famous Luwero Triangle, and then proceed to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino Project. Our driver will drive you to ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. You will have a lunch stop and then proceed to Murchison falls.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Boat Ride

Early in the morning, you will have a game drive around the northern banks of the River Nile. You have great chances of spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, hartebeest, to list the and bird species. Head for lunch, and afternoon you will go for a boat ride. You will take a boat ride to the bottom of the falls, and you will see how the water forces itself out of the rocks. You will view hippos and other animals drinking water from the riverbank. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Enjoy an African cup of coffee, and the driver will transfer you to Kibale National Park. You will be view local homesteads, green countryside, and local farms along the Albertine Rift escarpment. The journey takes 7-8 hours by car and you will check in at the hotel on arrival.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and visiting the Bigodi Swamp

Take breakfast, report to headquarters for briefing. Enter the jungle to search for chimpanzees. Game rangers know where to find the chimpanzees easily, after find the chimpanzee spend one hour with them. Return for lunch, after lunch head to Bigodi swamp which is well known for best destination for birds. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park will start off after your morning breakfast. The driver will drive through the south passing the Crater Lake area, you will be viewing beautiful landscape and rolling hills. You might have a chance of viewing animals from the road from queen elizbeth national park. Check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Take African cup of coffee and head to park for game drive, expect to see to see buffaloes, lions to list the few and variety of bird species. Head back to the lodge for lunch, after you go for an exciting boat cruise along the kazinga channel. Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking

Take cup of coffee and report to the headquarters for a briefing from the game rangers. You should carry packed lunch from lodge, enough drinking water and trekking equipment. Enter the jungle and the trekking will start. After finding the gorillas family will spend one hour with the gorillas and then return to the lodge.

Day 10: Transfer to Kampala

You will have breakfast and after breakfast our driver will be waiting to transfer back to Kampala. You will have stopover from mbarara town for lunch and then proceed to Uganda equator for photo shots. You will arrival to Kampala; the driver will either drop you to the hotel or to Entebbe international airport to catch-up with your flight.
